What is the difference between Shapiro Salt Works pool salt and other brands?
The primary difference is that Shapiro Salt Works pool salt is made in the United States, is finely granulated, is food-grade, and contains NO additives. This means that our salt is the purest salt that you can use in your pool.
In contrast, solar salt sold by some other companies may be cheaper, but it is not as clean (and often contains additives), and has the potential to stain your pool or leave a residue.
